Rwanda reimposes lockdown over ‘unprecedented’ Covid-19 infections
– – Rwanda has reimposed a lockdown in its capital, Kigali, as it battles a second wave of coronavirus cases. In a statement, the Rwandan government said it has been compelled to take the action due to “unprecedented deaths and transmission rates”. The statement said all movements outside homes in the capital will require an approved permit from the police, except for essential service providers.
