Ghana: Doctor poisons colleague’s water with HIV blood

– – Police in Ghana are investigating a case involving the contamination of a medical doctor’s drinking water with HIV-infected blood. The act is suspected to have been carried out by another doctor following a disagreement between the two. Nigeria: Patients stranded as strike by doctors disrupts health services

– – Hundreds of patients have been stranded in Nigerian hospitals as a result of an indefinite strike by doctors. Nurses at all council clinics in Zimbabwe’s capital Harare have abandoned work compounding the health crisis in the country. The nurses declared strike on Monday citing incapacitation, according to local media reporting.
