150 people hospitalized in Algeria after swimming

– – About 150 people have been hospitalized after swimming at a beach in Algeria. The seawater is suspected to have been polluted at Tenes in north-western Algeria, a regional official said. Three beaches and a desalination plant have been closed for an investigation into the incident. Nigeria: Patients stranded as strike by doctors disrupts health services

– – Hundreds of patients have been stranded in Nigerian hospitals as a result of an indefinite strike by doctors. The strike follows an ultimatum issued by National Association of Resident Doctors to the federal government to improve wages and allowances of doctors.
