Boy commits suicide after impregnating 15-year-old girl

– – A 16 year-old student in Uganda has committed suicide after allegedly impregnating a 15-year-old girl. Police in Rakai District say they are now investigating circumstances under which the boy died. A school in Kenya has been shut down over the death of a pupil who committed suicide after she was embarrassed by her teacher for staining her uniform during menstruation. The World Health Organization has said that every 40 seconds one person dies from suicide globally. The WHO’s latest report was released on Monday as part of activities to mark the World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10. Ghana: Man fakes suicide attempt to create awareness

A man in Ghana on Tuesday staged a fake suicide attempt creating panic in the capital Accra. The unidentified man was seen sitting on top of 20-foot statue of Obetsebi Lamptey, one of Ghana’s Independence heroes.
