Some of the items donated for the wedding include food, outfits, entertainment and even a place for their honeymoon.

Special opportunity

In a recent interview the pair told W24 they had no idea they would get an opportunity to get the wedding of their dreams.

The couple said it “wasn’t the kind of ceremony we wanted but because of the situation we continued with it last year”.

Mkansi and Soldaat have three children aged 7, 12 and 17.  Many South Africans have been excited about the out-pour of love for the couple.
