The world is currently going through a very rough time as a result of the dreaded Coronavirus. Thousands of people have lost their lives due to the illness that started in December last year from a town called Wuhan in China. The virus has spread to other parts of the world with Italy being the worst hit after China who… Read More

This is my third commentary on the Coronavirus pestilence (see “E ku Corona o” – ThisDay, March 3, and “Amala and the Coronavirus patient” – ThisDay, March 10), and now, three weeks later, the most important subject still remains this mysterious plague that has changed the way we live, the way we think, the nature and character of markets, physical… Read More

The Coronavirus scourge in Nigeria had shown how church leaders, agents and oracles of divinity have abandoned God and closed down churches for fear of death. Since power intoxicates in ‘Naija’ politicians covet power and authority deploying every means… Read More

Alaye mi to Corosive, I hope you will pardon my temerity, but your full name is a tad too long, and the COVID-19 nickname is a little too science-fictionesque for my unscientific mind. Jor, biko, manage Coro like that, and let us just focus on this my letter to you. Or perhaps we can just call this what it actually… Read More

This new religion is an umbrella religion that encapsulates others –African traditional religion, Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and Bahai. Even the non-religious outlooks subsists under its shade and cover. The new religion has members of these religious faiths as followers and adherents.… Read More
