Burkina Faso: Gunmen open fire inside church, kill at least 14

Gunmen in Burkina Faso on Sunday opened fire on worshipers at a church killing at least 14 people. Local media reported that the victims were attending a service at a church in Hantoukoura, in the eastern part of the country. According to a local government statement, many people also sustained injuries in the attack. There are no details of the motive behind the attack yet. Mali: U.N. peacekeeper killed, five wounded in two attacks

The U.N. mission (MINUSMA) has said that a U.N. peacekeeper was killed on Sunday at a mine site in Mali. Four others were also wounded when their vehicle hit an explosive device in northern Mali. The troops were patrolling near the village of Aguelhok when the blast occurred. 25 Malian soldiers killed in deadly jihadist attacks

Mali’s government has said that twenty-five of it’s soldiers have been killed in Monday’s deadly attacks carried out by jihadists in central part of the country. 60 more people are reportedly missing following the attack carried out on two army camps. At least 29 killed in two attacks in Burkina Faso

Authorities in Burkina Faso have said that at least 29 people were killed in the country’s troubled north on Sunday. First an attack carried out on a food convoy led to the death of 14 civilians.
