Liberia: Eight found dead in flat after a graduation party

– – Police in Liberia are investigating the circumstances under which a young woman and seven others died after party in a flat. The woman and the seven others were found dead in an apartment in the country’s capital Monrovia, following a party to celebrate her graduation from university. Liberia: Dozens of children killed in school fire

At least 27 school children have been killed in a fire outbreak at an Islamic school in Liberia. There were two survivors who were taken to the hospital, the police said. The victims were 10 years old and above. Police spokesman Moses Carter said on Wednesday that “The kids were learning the Koran when the fire broke out.” According to police the fire outbreak was caused by an electrical issue, but the police say investigations are still ongoing.
