FIFA extends mandate of Ghana FA normalization committee

World governing body FIFA has extended the mandate of the Ghana Football Association normalization committee. The extension is to help the committee complete the electoral process expected to go beyond the slated October 25, 2019 proposed date. An official confirmation from FIFA extended the work of the interim managerial team up to November 17, 2019. Ghana: Football association adopts new statutes

The membership of the Ghana Football Association Congress on Thursday approved and adopted new Statutes at an extra ordinary congress held in the capital Accra. The statutes were proposed by a normalization committee that was put in place following the suspension of the Football association over corruption allegations involving its former President, Kwesi Nyantekyi. FIFA gives former Nigerian player Samson Siasia life ban

Former Nigeria coach Samson Siasia has been banned for life and fined $50,000 by Fifa for agreeing to ‘the manipulation of matches.’ Siasia was coach of Nigeria between 2010-2011 and for a spell in 2016 but the time period when Fifa believes he committed his infractions is unclear.
