Mugabe left behind $10 mln and properties but no will

The late former president of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe reportedly left behind $10 million in his bank account together with other properties. State media Herald newspaper on Tuesday published the list of Mugabe’s estate but indicated there was no will to distribute the properties. The newspaper listed some of the properties left behind to include: four houses, 10 cars, one farm, his rural home and an orchard. Winnie left wanting in Nelson “Madiba” Mandela’s will

Nelson Mandela and Wife Winnie Walking out of JailJOHANNESBURG Former President Nelson Mandela has not left any money or assets to his former wife Winnie Madikizela-Mandela.

Mandela’s final will and testament was released publicly today.

In it Mandela detailed endowments to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Executors of his estate, Deputy Chief Justice Dikgang Moseneke, Eastern Cape Judge President Themba Sangoni and Advocate George Bizos SC, have estimated the estate is valued at R46-million, however this figure had to be evaluated.


Mandela’s Houghton home and its contents have been left to the Nelson Mandela Trust which has been instructed to grant his grandson Mandla Mandela the right to occupy the property.
