40 Ghanaians deported from the U.S for various offences

Forty Ghanaians have been deported from United States of America for various offences. Ghana’s Immigration Service (GIS) said it received these deportees at the Kotoka International Airport in the capital Accra. The deportees reportedly had engaged in offences ranging from trafficking of banned substances, assault, vehicle theft, burglary, fraud, domestic violence and immigration-related issues. In a statement, a senior immigration official, Barbara Sam, said the deportees comprise 38 males and two females.
