Africa is a leading continent when it comes to the production of cocoa. Ghana and Ivory Coast together produce majority of the world’s cocoa beans but the continent struggles to rake in significant amount of money from just selling their beans in their raw state. From the 4th to the 6th October, 2019, the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) will host the maiden edition of the African Cocoa & Chocolate Expo (ACCE) in the heart of the nation’s capital, Accra.
