An unnamed Nigerian cleric has gone online to speak about the dream that she had. In two videos, the woman narrated her dream.
The woman said she saw many people in her dream twisting their tongues to imitate the way white people Americans talk.

She said that she had a strong rebuke telling them that what they are doing is not good. The woman cited a verse in the bible.

“Wherever you are watching me right now, it is a very simple and straightforward message; God does not want us to speak phonetics. Speak the way you know you can.”
She, however, said that Africans born abroad who are already attuned to the way foreigners speak are exempted as that was how they were brought up.
The evangelist even imitated the way Nigerians who have just been to abroad speaking when they come back home.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka singled out religion as the number one problem hindering Nigerians from being liberated as ‘rational beings’.
It was gathered that the venerated writer made the comment while speaking recently with a professor of African Literature, Dr. Louisa Egbunike.
He said:
“All over the place, I find that religion has been cosseted too much. And liberty has been taken by religionists, which would not be considered to other movements which are considered secularists…”
