South Africa says Israel “dismally failed” in its defence before the ICJ
On the final day of the preliminary hearings in the Israel genocide case, Israel’s defence focused on the brutality of the Oct. 7 attacks. The president of the ICJ said it would rule on urgent measures “as soon as possible.” A ruling in the merit of the case could take years.
