Singer Davido decries rise in exchange rate of dollar to naira
Singer David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has decried the rise in the dollar to naira exchange rate.
Davido on his Twitter handle said dollar to naira exchange rate is heading to N1,000 to a $1 if the rise persists.
He insisted drastic action must be taken to forestall such “doomsday” reality.
He tweeted: “Dollar heading to 1k. drastic action is needed.”
The exchange rate for a dollar to naira at the Lagos Parallel Market (Black Market) was N610 to $1 on May 30, 2022.
