2020 has been an amazing year for Nigerian music. Our musicians have made sure songs from this part of Africa were heard all over the world. In fact, popular Nigerian singer Burna Boy was nominated for a Grammy award for the second time in a row.
International artistes have also realised how big Nigerian artistes are and have begun to work closely with them. It is however not strange to note that some rising Nigerian musicians have gone out of their way to reveal the similarities between them and their favourite American musicians.
One of such people is burgeoning female Nigerian rapper Daniella Napoleon aka Nappy Girl. Best known for her EP BBL808, Nappy girl took to her Twitter page to declare that even though she notes the comparisons between her and American rapper Megan Thee Stallion, she does rap harder than her.
Apart from to the fact that they are both women who are musicians, some fans of Nappy have drawn attention to the fact that both ladies have similar body shapes.

Nappy recently released a cover of the immensely popular song My Family originally released by UK-based, Gambia-raised MC, Pa Salieu featuring BackRoad Gee.
The curvy afro hip-hop artiste also released a raunchy video of the song. The video which was self-directed sees Nappy Girl throw caution to the wind in a bid to show unrelenting support for her folks.

This is coming after a song by BBNaija’s Laycon made a list of top 10 Nigerian trending songs. In fact, Laycon had songs on the number one and two positions on the list.
The remix of DJ Neptune and Joeboy’s song Nobody featuring Laycon made number two on the chart while Laycon’s song Hip Hop featuring Deshinor was first on the chart.
