I knew new song would be a hit− Sean Dampte
A singer, Sean Dampte, has said that he is not surprised at how well his new song titled, ‘For my Head’, is doing.
He told Saturday Beats, “Since its release, the song has been steadily climbing different playlists and digital channels, just in the first week. It is no surprise that the song is garnering so much traction, because I put a lot of effort into making it. I even still have higher expectations.
“It has also been nominated by Symphonic Africa, a leading distribution outfit, as the ‘song of the week’.
“I put a lot of energy and time into the song. Right from the point of conception to delivery, I knew it would be successful. However, me and my team were surprised that an entertainment agency could nominate the single as the ‘song of the week’ so soon. I consider it to be such an honour, and it is a motivation for me to keep churning out good music.”
