Ethiopia’s Tsegay sets new women’s 5,000m world record
Ethiopia distance runner Gudaf Tsegay set a new world record on Sunday (Sep. 17) to wrap up the season at the Prefontaine Classic track and field meet. clocked 14min 00.21 sec to carve almost five seconds off the previous held by Kenyan Faith Kipyegon.
