Portugal international and Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo is reported to have been tested positive for Covid-19 for the second time is will be facing the sidelines in their match against Barcelona on the 28th of October.
The 35-year-old Portuguese had first came out positive during the international break and was hopeful of returning to the Bianconeri’s team in time to face the Catalonians for the first time since parting ways with Real Madrid in 2018, which had been formerly predicted by high roller online casinos before the transfer was completed.
But the thing didn’t go as plan for the all-time Portugal goal scorer as Correio da Manha confirms that Ronaldo has tested positive for the Covid-19 for a second time, and according to UEFA’s regulations, a player must be tested negative seven days before the start of a match to be able to play, with less than a week to the Barcelona game, he more likely to miss the game.
The first time Ronaldo was tested positive for the virus, there was said to be a weak strain of Covid-19 in Portuguese, weak in a sense it is not contagious, leading Italian giants to appeal to UEFA to try and have him back in the team before the match.
The Bianconeris are hoping the UEFA will have him take 48 hours before their clash against the La Liga giants if the test comes out negative.

Appeal or no Appeal, as it stands right now Ronaldo is on verge of missing the Barcelona clash in the Champions League while he is sure to be sidelined for the Bianconeris league match against Genoa on Sunday.
The Portuguese’s reaction after being tested positive for the first time brought in some critics. He was in Portugal when he came out positive but the 35-year-old forward chose to fly back to Italy to isolate himself, thus sparking the anger of Italian sports Minister Vincenzo Spadafora, who criticized the forward.
However, Ronaldo and Juventus took to the media to disrupt claims of forward being irresponsible, saying that his flight back to Italy was done safely without coming into contact with no one but himself since his arrival.
The Serie A giants have gone two games without the Portuguese forward, missing a 1-1 draw against Crotone and the 3-0 victory against Dynamo Kyiv in their UEFA Champions League opening match on Tuesday night just as blackjack online had predicted before the game.

After seeing Ronaldo omitted from the team, Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo chose to move Dejan Kulusevski to the false nine roles in their game against the Ukrainian side, joining up with Alvaro Morata upfront. Paulo Dybala came into the match as a second-half substitute and as it seems, he will likely be competing with Kulusevski for a spot in the first team.
