JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) – A South African High Court judge ruled on Tuesday that Old Mutual’s suspension and subsequent dismissal of CEO Peter Moyo was unlawful, and said he must be reinstated while the full case against his dismissal is heard.
The judge also blocked South Africa’s No.2 insurer from taking steps to replace Moyo in the meantime, and said it must pay his court costs.
