My heart bleeds for our beloved country NIGERIA. Where is the faithfulness, loyalty and honesty in our national pledge that’s exhibited by our leaders to serve the nation? You cannot ignore China now. … Read More

Desperation abound when poverty of the mind colludes to accommodate impunity and conspiracy theory motivated by political prebendaries who are the purveyors of all social vices.  The Attorney-General of the Federation,  Abubakar Malami, was not only in a hurry to occupy a vital position in the country, but desperate to allocate to himself what belongs to millions of people. He… Read More

I first met Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala during the Obasanjo administration at a conference organised by the newly emergent Due Process Office headed by Mrs. Obiageli (Oby) Katryn Ezekwesili. Okonjo-Iweala was Minister of Finance, so I asked her how much oil Nigeria was producing daily. Conference Chairman, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai (Now Governor of Kaduna State) fumed: “Mr. Lakemfa, let me tell… Read More

The prejudice against human race by some invisible living creatures is a story of both hope and despair. What comes behind a stormy cloud with furious lightening is seemingly predictable but a queer snowfall in summer that taint the sky with light white flakes, in selfishness can often cause frightful chaos. The beginning of year 2020 was like a rose… Read More

It was a pleasant day, long before the pandemic. I was inside the Gloworld at the Ikeja City Mall to fix something with my phone line. Everything was going well until the sound of gunshots –skrrrahh, pap, pap, ka-ka-ka-ka-ka! I jumped to my feet very quickly and scanned the environment to determine the safest escape route. I quickly considered that… Read More
