BC: Prince Kaybee to Top House Music List with his Gemini Album

South African multiple award winning disc jockey and record producer Prince Kaybee who has often been considered as one of the best when it comes to the afro house music genre in Africa returns with his long awaited 5th studio LP project titled ‘Gemini Album’ which will be released on the 17th day of June, 2022.

Prince Kaybee whose real name is Kabelo Motsamai is an SA Music artist who specializes on record production and DJing, and often nicknamed as ‘the House king’, though many have always disputed this fact as they have always placed the likes of Black Coffee, Black Motion and Shimza ahead of him. Prior to the release of this Gemini album, he used his social media pages to brag about re-taking the mantle with the LP project.

The Gemini will be a follow up to his last project ‘The 4th Republic’ which still dominates many musical charts till date but Prince seems not to be pleased with its success which can be seen on his last studio session with BBC where he stated that the emergence of the amapiano genre have hindered his project from attaining the heights it ought have reached and decides to strengthen the House genre with this current project.

The Gemini album will house about 10 tracks in all where he connects lots of notable artists in South African music industry like Dr Thulz, Ami Faku, Umzulu Phaqa, Zaba, Nkosazana Daughter, Masuda, Hush, Frigid Armadillo, Bassie, Papekeys and Polaris as he kick-started the project with his ‘Jazz According To House’ and ended it with his ‘Milani’ track.
