Residents of Amman tried to stay cool on Sunday as the Jordanian capital continued to suffer a heat wave. Many who found themselves outside in the scorching heat sought relief at water fountains and juice shops. City authorities, meanwhile, deployed trucks to spray a cooling mist in the capital’s city centre.
