Darkoo Decides To Remix Her Song With Black Sherif After Several Criticisms

There has been chaos in the Ghanaian music scene after the release of the much anticipated song, Always by UK-based Nigerian rapper and singer, Darkoo.

The reason being that the expectations of the fans were not met after the song was dropped and they heard the full song. Prior to it’s release, there was a trending part of the song which appears to be Black Sherif’s verse and many Ghanaians me thought that the trending part of the song would definitely be the hook for the song because of the energy and vibrancy heard in that part.

But their wild expectations were short-lived after the full song was released and Black Sherif’s part was actually a verse and not the hook. People expressed their disappointment in the song’s arrangement and mixing explaining why Black Sherif’s verse should been the hook and repeated in the song instead of once.

It seems Darkoo has taken all these criticisms into consideration and decided to make a remix of the song as she wrote in a TikTok challenge video she posted.

Her challenge has received over 150 submissions as she said in the video that the person to drop the best verse on the instrumental she posted wins a space on the remix.
