USA: “Tragic hero” Malcolm X opera comes to New York’s Met
The musical biography of civil rights leader Malcolm X infusing history with Afrofuturism will open at New York’s Metropolitan Opera on November 3rd. The opera by composer Anthony Davis is the second by a Black composer in Met history.
