Blaze kills over 30 at illegal Benin fuel depot
The blaze erupted on Sep. 23 at a warehouse for smuggled fuel in the southern Benin town of Seme Podji near the border with Nigeria. Local residents said cars, motorbikes and tricycle taxis came to stock up on fuel at the depot.
