Popular Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo has made a case for himself as to why Nigeria must not be changed to United African Republic.

The ‘Iyawo Mi’ crooner took to his Twitter page to state that it’d be a great loss for him if that happens because he has already sang a hit song for Nigeria.

In his words:

Now that you people are planning to change Nigeria’s name to United African Republic, What will I do with My Great nation song?! Una Dey stress me too much.”

The 40-year-old Ghanaian-Nigerian released the song ‘Great Nation’ in 2011 and it became an instant hit for celebrating Nigeria’s unity as a sovereign state.
