TIME has announced Wizkid’s ‘Essence (Remix)’ as it’s second best song for the year 2021.
The global hit tune, popularly hailed as the “song of the summer“, originally featured Nigerian Chanteuse; Tems and was released off Wizkid’s ‘Made in Lagos‘ album in October 2020. Following the global acceptance of the album, Wizkid decided to drop a deluxe version of the ‘Made in Lagos’ album which also had the remix of the smash tune ‘Essence‘ featuring Tems and Canadian superstar Justin Bieber.
The song which has earned Wizkid and Tems a grammy nomination in the ‘Best Global Music Performance Category’, has broken and set records as well as generated a lot of Buzz, and it is to this regard that American News Magazine, Times has crowned it the Second best song of 2021 (In the world oh)
