Styles of music that make Afrobeats largely began sometime in the late 90s and early-mid 2000s.
By 2009, artistes within the burgeoning scene were beginning to become stars across the continent and beyond.
Today, Nigerian artistes are closing out grandiose concert venues across the globe, pulling off major collaborations, making hit songs, topping highly coveted charts, and raking in lots of revenue for themselves.
But beyond the glitz and glam are the musicians themselves whose growth over the years couldn’t be more evident.
