The Black Stars of Ghana will be based in Brazil’s costal city of Maceio during the 2014 World Cup.
Maceio, a city located between Mundau Lake and the Atlantic Ocean in Brazil’s Alagoas state has a population of little over 900,000.
It is a tourist hub with tropical wet and dry climate.
Ghana’s other group opponents: USA will base in Sao Paulo, Germany in Santa Cruz and Portugal in Campinas.
