Uganda’s Museveni claims to have ‘never stolen anything’

The President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni has declared that he is not corrupt and has “never stolen anything from anybody and I am also not a poor man.”

He made the comments when he spoke to thousands of his supporters on Wednesday in Kampala.

Museveni led thousands of Ugandans to stage an anti-corruption walk through the streets of the capital Kampala.

President Museveni described “corrupt people” as “parasites because they get wealth which they did not earn.”

The Ugandan President who has often been accused by his critics as being corrupt sought to suggest that he made his wealth through hard work and genuinely.

But there are many Ugandan’s who ridiculed the entire anti-corruption march and the Ugandan government’s commitment to fight corruption.
