Eritrea accuses CIA of attempting to overthrow the govt

Eritrea’s government has said that it’s investigations uncovered evidence of a US plot to overthrow the government in Asmara in 2011. Veteran US Democratic congressman Elijah Cummings, who was heavily involved with the Trump impeachment inquiry, has died at the age of 68. His office said he died due to “longstanding health challenges”. As chairman of the House of Representatives Oversight Committee, he had instigated several investigations into the Trump administration. Authorities in the United States of America on Wednesday returned a stolen ancient coffin to Egypt. This is happening two years after the coffin was acquired by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. 40 Ghanaians deported from the U.S for various offences

Forty Ghanaians have been deported from United States of America for various offences. Ghana’s Immigration Service (GIS) said it received these deportees at the Kotoka International Airport in the capital Accra. The deportees reportedly had engaged in offences ranging from trafficking of banned substances, assault, vehicle theft, burglary, fraud, domestic violence and immigration-related issues. Two Nigerians arrested in U.S. over $40mln internet fraud

American officials have arrested two Nigerian men over multi-million dollar internet fraud. They were alleged to have attempted to swindle unsuspecting victims of $40m. According to American officials the two Nigerians run a money-laundering network used for the transfer of stolen funds.
