South Africa: Malema charged over 2018 rally shooting

South Africa’s National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) on Wednesday charged opposition Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema over a 2018 rally shooting incident. He is charged for allegedly firing a weapon in public during his party’s rally event in the Eastern Cape in 2018. Nigeria: Soldiers kill three policemen in deadly attack

Some unidentified soldiers in Nigeria have shot dead three police officers in a deadly attack. The soldiers also killed a civilian in the attack carried out along Ibi-Jalingo Road, Taraba State. Local media reported that several other officers were also injured during the attack.
