Ghana: High School closed down over ghost scare

A high school in Ghana’s Upper East Region has been closed down after some students reportedly saw a ghost on campus. Over twenty female students of the Fumbisi Senior High School reportedly collapsed after seeing the said ghost. One student fell from the second floor of the girl’s dormitory after she allegedly saw the frightening creature. She has since lost her sight despite being rushed to a health centre for treatment. Kenyan school closed over outbreak of strange disease

A girls high school in Kenya, the Starehe Girls Centre has been closed following the outbreak of what health officials say is a mysterious disease. The unknown disease has left 52 students isolated, forcing its closure on Thursday. Education officials say the school would however be-open on Monday, October 7. According to health officials those affected by the outbreak have high pitch cough, sneeze and a low-grade fever,. A 51-year old trader’s quest to further her education in Ghana means she had to sit same basic school exam alongside her own child.
