DR Congo plane crash kills at least 24 people

At least 24 people have been killed in a plane crash on Sunday in Goma in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. There are fears the death toll could rise as rescue efforts continue to recover bodies. Those killed include residents on the ground, according to Congolese officials. Local media reported that the small aircraft went down in the Mapendo neighbourhood after “missing” its take-off from the city’s airport. Kenya: Families receive bodies of Ethiopian Airlines crash victims

Bodies of Kenyan victims of the Ethiopian Airlines flight that crashed in Addis Ababa in March have arrived in Kenya. The bodies arrived on Monday at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where families of 32 Kenyan victims gathered to receive them ahead of burial on Thursday. SA pilots helping teens fly their jet die in plane crash

Two South African pilots who played a key role in a project to have some teenagers build their own plane have died in a plane crash. The pilots died in a plane crash in western Tanzania, according to the organization running the project.
