Trump booed at UFC fight night in New York

US President Donald Trump was loudly booed on Saturday for the second time in a week at a sporting event as he attended a UFC fight in New York. Trump, wearing a dark suit and a red tie, pumped his fist and waved at the crowd as he walked into the city’s iconic Madison Square Garden arena on Saturday night. Zimbabwe’s Tererai Trent gets a statue in New York

A statue in honour of a Zimbabwean-born academic, Tererai Trent has been unveiled in New York in the United States of America. Her statue is among several others unveiled to honour prominent women outside New York’s Rockefeller Centre. Prominent personalities like media mogul Oprah Winfrey, actress Nicole Kidman, Olympian Gabby Douglas and author Cheryl Strayed are also set to get the bronze statue.
