The candidates seeking to become Ghana’s next FA president

Six individuals who have been cleared to contest for the presidency of the Ghana football Association are hoping to secure the top job to reform the body. The election which is set for October 25, will see five men and a woman vying to replace disgraced former president Kwesi Nyantakyi. Ghana: Football association adopts new statutes

The membership of the Ghana Football Association Congress on Thursday approved and adopted new Statutes at an extra ordinary congress held in the capital Accra. The statutes were proposed by a normalization committee that was put in place following the suspension of the Football association over corruption allegations involving its former President, Kwesi Nyantekyi.
