South Africa: Malema charged over 2018 rally shooting

South Africa’s National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) on Wednesday charged opposition Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema over a 2018 rally shooting incident. He is charged for allegedly firing a weapon in public during his party’s rally event in the Eastern Cape in 2018.
