SA deports Malawians for staying illegally as more wait at detention immigration centre
Reports also indicate that hundreds of Malawians are also at the detention immigration centre waiting to be deported.
South African Home Affairs officials have been quoted in the local media as saying “they will be deporting Malawians every week to clear the illegal immigrants.”
Malawians especially the youth flock to South Africa to get job opportunities since there is job scarcity in their country. As the country is going to polls in May, all presidential candidates are promising creation of jobs once voted into power but they are not clear on how they will create the jobs.
