TransAfrica Forum, afrikafé and AFI Silver are proud to present the seventh annual New African Films Festival March 10 to 15, 2011 featuring the vibrancy of African filmmaking from all corners of the continent.  Opening night featuring filmmaker and star of THE ATHLETE Rasselas Lakew. Opening night post-screening reception courtesy of Abol Ethiopian Cuisine. 
Venue: AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center, 8633 Colesville Road, Silver Spring, MD 20910

Admission: GENERAL ADMISSION $10.00; AFI MEMBER w/card $8.50; SENIOR (65+) $9.00; CHILD (12 & under) $6.00. Discounted STUDENT tickets are available at the Box Office. Please present a valid student ID to the cashier. AFI Member passes will be accepted at all films in the 2011 New African Films Festival, except Opening Night.
