The Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) and FESTO are pleased to invite you to the online colloquium – facilitated by the African Development Bank – on Digital Technical and Vocational Education and Training (DTVET).

The main objective of this webinar is to share effective innovative solutions and best practices in the

digitalization of TVET in order to prepare African youth for future work. The focus will be on how TVET systems can be reformed to be more flexible to career paths.

The colloquium will also discuss appropriate policy measures to create more and better jobs in the rapidly changing world of work.

The colloquium will take place via Zoom and interpretation services will be available in English and French. Several African countries, regional and international partners, TVET stakeholders, and private sector representatives will present their experiences, challenges and best practices. In addition, ADEA will present the preliminary findings of its two studies on the demand and supply sides of technical and vocational skills development while FESTO will present its e-skilling concept and success stories.
