We did not expect to endorse any candidates this early but fact are facts. Bingu stands tall compared with all those with ambitions to be the next President of Malawi. He has demonstrated resilience and strength with the entire onslaught unleashed by Bakili Muluzi since he won the Presidency fair and square. Bakili Muluzi had his chance for ten years. The man was promoted beyond his capabilities. He is a good joyful fellow. He gets credit for risking his life and others by standing up to Kamuzu Banda when it was the riskiest thing any Malawian could do those days. President material he was not. This man did not know the Government has influence in the price of commodities in Malawi. He needs to be put to rest. His time came. Mr. Muluzi retires in peace. Gwanda Chakuamba is not worthy mentioning. Ambition he does not lack. This man is cruel and evil. He does not even deserver to be called a candidate. John Tembo scares the jeepers out of us. He has potential to win if things fall right for him. He should not be allowed to win. Malawi will be worse of in terms of freedom. He knows where and why the bodies of Gadama and Matenje were buried. He has blood in his hands. That fact alone disqualifies him Third tier candidates or potential candidates like Ntaba and Brown Mpinganjira are not worthy mentioning because they have no potential of ever becoming President. So for now Bingu is the only guy left standing. Maybe in his second term he will be given time to spend more time fighting for Malawian causes rather than fighting off Muluzi and his cohorts who will never accept that they are no longer in power.
