Britains Tony Blair Ends Political Advisory Mission in Malawi

Government spokesmen cited by the news reports recalled that President Joyce Banda and other senior political leaders have been working with AGI since July 2012.

According to the sources, the national administration and the group led by Tony Blair agreed some months ago that the foreign commission would complete its work in this country before the 2014 presidential elections.

According to the agenda of AGI, politics advisory office is dedicated to strengthening government systems, the construction of processes, leadership and provides counseling regarding public communication programs.

Blair established the group after leaving Downing Street in 2007, and has interests for similar cooperation in seven other African countries, including Nigeria and Rwanda.
