Pele played football with arguably more style than anyone in history. FIFA, therefore, wanted to celebrate his 80th birthday in some style.
We travelled the world to interview his former team-mates, other football legends, his wife, his sister, his friends and, of course, ‘The King’ himself.
Pele couldn’t hold back the tears. Nor could some of his team-mates. And we’re sorry, but we’re not sure you will too!
Bebeto, Cafu, Iker Casillas, Teofilo Cubillas, Didier Drogba, Dunga, Edu, Samuel Eto’o, Gianni Infantino, Jairzinho, Kaka, Jurgen Klopp, Gary Lineker, Carli Lloyd, Manoel Maria, Marta, Mengalvio, Jose Mourinho, Michael Owen, Paulo Cezar Caju, Pepe, Carles Puyol, Rivellino, Ronaldo, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Tostao, Bastien Schweinsteiger, Mario Zagallo, Zico and Zinedine Zidane all send their best birthday wishes to Pele (one of them even sings them!).
